My lil' Pump-Kwynne

When Kwynne and I were little we were part of a singing group together.
One of the songs we'd perform was called "Sisters" from the movie "White Christmas".
I feel like more now than ever, a verse in that song applies to me and my Kwynners.

"All kinds of weather, we stick together
The same in the rain or sun
Two different faces, but in tight places
We think and we act as one".

We are only 13 months apart, but for years it might as well have been 100 months.
We were so different from one another, and I've got to be honest, I didn't make too much of an effort to get to know her.
Boy someone should have smacked me upside the head, because I just can't ever get enough of her now.

For Christmas, "Super" Dane gave Kwynne a plane ticket to come see me as a gift.
It was as much a gift to me as it was to her.
It was so much fun to have her here, and tears were definitely shed after she left.

Seriously? It's pure entertainment watching these two together.

Of course I took her to Mama's for breakfast, and was slightly aghast when all she ordered was plain ol' french toast because her pregnant belly couldn't stomach much else.
I felt a little better when she ranted and raved over the fresh orange juice, seeing how she didn't even want to try a bite of their famous Monte Cristo.

The Trolley Cars are a perfect way to experience a piece of San Francisco.
You travel from Ghirardelli square down to Union Square and back again.

Kwynne knows exactly what she did to deserve this stare down. Maggie was standing, minding her business, watching her Barbie movie, when she was viciously attacked by Kwynne's water bottle. Kwynne thought it was hysterical and kept flipping water at poor Mags, which was all fun and games until Maggie got her own hands on a water bottle. That's when I had to give Kwynne a little lesson about "monkey see, monkey do". I can't wait to corrupt her little gaffer when he/she arrives.

The night before she flew home, after our league basketball game, we justified stuffing our faces at Ghirardelli's Ice Cream Shoppe.

Never come between a pregnant woman and her ice cream... never.

Thank-you so much for coming Kwynn-a-roo!
We sure love you!

You guys really do look alike REg! I think with Kwynne's hair so dark it makes the resemblence even closer. Looks like you had so much fun. I really wish I could say I will get the chance to play in San Fransisco, but my time is running out, isn't it! Makes me want to cry!

I can't believe your mom survived two little ones 15 months apart! especially after 2 boys!!! Sisters are the best. I love mine to death, and hope that if i ever do have a daughter, she can have a sister.
