We braved the insane crowds on "black" Friday night, and walked ourselves smack dab into the middle of the best shopping district in San Francisco.
To shop? Nope (although it felt like there were thousands doing just that).
We went down to Union Square to watch the tree lighting ceremony.
Maggie has been elated by lit trees this year, and I knew that she'd be in complete awe when they lit the giant tree in the middle of Union Square.
It was crazy, crazy busy, but oh so worth it.

Just before the lighting, there was a performance by the cast of "Wicked" and some carols sung by the Emmy winning San Francisco Boys Choir.

It was so fun to meet up with Brett, Nadine, Nando and Megan.
Afterwards we ventured down to Chestnut to warm up and grab a bite to eat.
Pretty sure this was the yummiest, cheesiest grilled cheese sandwich Maggie's ever bit into.
