Someone very special around here hit a milestone.
Today was my sweet Mags' 1st day of Kindergarten.
Oh my heart.
She was so incredibly excited...
and ready...
which made it the teensiest bit easier (teensiest).
Lining up to get ready to go inside...
A wave...
An "I love you Mom"...
and off she went without the slightest look back...
and so it begins.
We went and got a chocolate covered icecream cone after to celebrate.
Dear Mags,
you are such a pivotal source of happiness for this heart of mine.
I adore everything about you.
I pray that you leave school the way you entered...
with joy, confidence, and kindness.
(I guess some knowledge wouldn't hurt either)
I love you so much.
I should note that Joel gave little miss a blessing last night...
Of course I peeked... a few times...
she just sat there with her arms folded so tight,
with her eyes closed,
with the slightest hint of a smile.
Geesh, do I love that kid.

maggie is the sweetest. i hope she loved her first day. i meant to call you at some point yesterday and check-in to see how you were doing, but i didn't want to interrupt "the before" preparations or the "after" celebrations. let's talk soon.
You are completly darling. When Macey goes off to school I am not sure how sad I will be, I am soooo ready for her to go! I thought I would have a hard time with it since I blubbered when she went off to preschool. But she is soo ready to go and I am now in a place where I am ready for alllll my kids to be in FULL time school...Bitter sweet really.
On the other hand, I am surprised you guys are going back to school so early in the year? Does everyone got back to school this early?

WHAT!? There is no way Maggie is old enough for kindergarten. She is so beautiful. I love her little smile.
Monday is the big day at our house. I haven't had a good night sleep's all week. I'm literally dying inside. I wish my baby would stop growing up so quiCkly.
What? School already? Is it year round? That little Maggie is such a sweetie and has grown up the most of all of the SF babes. She is such a big girl now! What a beauty.
But it's still summer! No no no, I don't like that they are already going back to school! Luckily I think I have about 2 weeks before Haidyn starts, um, maybe I should check on that. :)
Mags looks ADORABLE and happy. I will show these to Haidyn tomorrow.
I just love her, she does look so big and I wish B and Mags could be in the same class. ;(

Big day for Mom and Dad. It seems like only yesterday that I was taking your daddy off to kindergarten. You looked really pretty Maggie. Hope you had a special day at kindergarten.
