My Dad sat with my Grandpa yesterday and told him "Regan thinks you're a champ"...
He so very much was.
Tonight he left his alzheimer's-ridden earthly body...
and I'm going to miss him dearly.
I'll never forget when I found out as an adult,
how when I was in high school,
he had come to one of my basketball games without my knowledge,
and had to excuse himself because he got so emotional watching me play...
He was such a great Grandpa.
Til we meet again...
