The Graduate

Look who's a big girl!
As we start the new year, we know it's time to start treating Maggie like the big girl she is.
It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that she's not a baby anymore, she's even almost past the toddler stage and entering the little girl phase.
How did this happen?

To commemorate this "occasion" we've decided to graduate Maggie from a crib to a big girl bed.  And when I say big girl bed, I literally mean it.  There will be no transitioning from a crib to toddler bed to a big bed.  It's straight to the big bed for this little miss.

Doesn't she look teeny tiny in that big 'ol bed?

Thankfully (for my sake), Maggie is still VERY attached to her soother, which still makes her little to me.
She hardly looks proud of herself...

This is how she started...

This is how she ended...

I'm happy to say that it's been the smoothest transition ever.  She's kept her same sleeping schedule (8:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.), she's still napping, and only gets out once she's called us and we come to get her.
I love this kid.
