It's Joel's 29th birthday today...
My Baby threw up 14 times throughout the past night...
5 loads of laundry,
1 whole container of wipes,
2 apple juice drinking boxes,
1 blessing,
6 times going to the internet for answers,
3 changes of clothes,
1 big red couch,
hundreds of "I love you"s & "your being so brave"s
and 2 exhausted parents
later,
things are finally starting to look up.
We all spent the night together out on the couch, and I'm pretty sure that my heart broke into multiple pieces every time Maggie would plead in her small moments of sleep "Mama", "Please", and "All Done".
I think we're going to celebrate our Hero's birthday a different day this week.
But make no mistake, his birthday is very important to us, and we love him endlessly.

Oh, Poor Maggie! Kate had the same thing on Tuesday and Wednesday! Just horrible. WOW! I am glad to hear that she is doing better. Once Kate stopped throwing up she got better really quick! And Happy Birthday to Joel!
What a rough night! Those are sad moments when they feel horrible and you can't do a darn thing! Hope she gets better soon!
I wish I was there to make a not so fabulous cake for Joel and let him know just how GREAT he really is! Happy Birthday Brother, your my hero too
