How Much Do I Love This Guy?

Joel is better than a beach day, he's better than a white chocolate brownie, he's better than a fabulous sale, he's better than a "throw your head back and laugh until your stomach hurts", he's... well... I think you're following me.  There are so many reasons I love this guy... but my most recent reason is because he's such a huge help at home, and has been so good at finding balance between school, church, home, and even a little time for the things he loves (like golfing with some good friends in Napa the other weekend).
The other day, I was staring (with despair) at the Everest pile of ironing I had to do, and didn't know where to begin.  I vented my "it never" ends frustration to Joel, when he suggested he do half and I do half.  He pulled out the iron and ironing board and started to get to work.  Well... I was just sitting there... yup, sitting there, and started feeling like a schmuck.  So I told him that I'd just do it.  But instead of being like "okay... great!"  He went and borrowed Brett and Nadine's iron and ironing board, and we worked together until the pile was no longer existent.  What would have taken me hours, we got done in less than half the time (he's a little less OCD about the ironing being perfect so he got more done in less time).  I was so so so happy (happy enough that I insisted on taking pictures of him with his shirt line-up)!  So thanks Joel... three cheers for you!

-he's such a goof ball...

Lol. Way to go Joel. And way to go Regan for ironing things. I once tried to iron something of Zach's when we were first married and I think I ruined it. I was fired after that... hooray for me!

You got me beat - I don't iron anything. Ever. But I have been known to use a spray bottle and hair flat iron on the hem of my skirt on Sunday.

I don't like ironing. Tom does his own. It takes TOO much time! :) You are a better wife than me!
