I think this last year has been easily the most stationary I've ever been in my life.
A little too stationary...
the crazies were about to take over my mind.
Thankfully I have a guy in my life that recognizes these moments and will suggest we do something about it.
He had a couple of days off in a row, so we decided to take a staycation into Denver.
It. Was. So. Nice.
We swam... napped... ate yummy food... walked along the river...
attended church at a really cool old building... swam some more...
and went to the aquarium to see "sarks".

Maggie could swim all day... she's such a fish...
She was reminded repeatedly that she is NOT to jump in the pool when she is WITHOUT water wings, or WITHOUT one of us.
Swimming lessons are most definitely on the agenda this summer.

Queen bee in her own big bed (she was efficient at claiming her bed immediately after we arrived).

Sunday we took a walk along the river, it was beautiful weather and we stopped to picnic on cinnamon buns.

As we were driving to our hotel, I saw the new Cafe Rio...
I told Joel we'd have to stop there at some point for some yummy food,
Joel proceeded to turn into the Cafe Rio parking lot, because it also hosted our Hotel... perfection.

Before beginning our long trek home (bahaha) we went to the Denver Aquarium.
I thought the shark exhibit was awesome... and the random tiger... well... that was interesting.
Mags has been watching Blue Planet ever since... so I guess it's safe to say the place made an impression.
I'm so glad that we made the effort to go on a trip... even if it was itty bitty...
I'll definitely be putting a staycation on our agenda again.

Looks FANTASTIC!!! Beautiful pictures as usual. Do you think I will see you someday soon. I talked to Joelio yesterday at the office. You're missed.
I just signed Haidyn up for swim lessons today at Villa. You don't need to be a member to take lessons there.
