Joel and I spent a night at the Broadmoor
and ate at their famous Brunch Sunday morning.
It was perfection...
and exactly what we needed.
We wanted to do something for our Anniversary,
but didn't want to venture too far away from home or the munchkins.
Thankfully the kids were happy and well taken care of while we were gone.
It was our first time ever having a babysitter come and stay with them,
which felt like such a big deal...
turns out it wasn't a big deal at all...
not to the kids and not to the babysitter...
they all had a great time.
I guess we'll venture further or longer next time.
Only regret...
that I hadn't trained for the brunch...
there was so much yumaliscious food...
my eyes had to take it all in, because my stomach just couldn't.

Looks amazing! I'm so glad you finally did it. I kind of was hoping for 20 pictures of the food to be posted..... just to give everyone a clue how yumaliscious your talking:) Shall we ALL train and go back? Yes please!

jealous! i'm so glad you had a good getaway and everything went well with the sitter. we might have to steal her from you and try it ourselves. i've spent 27 years training for that brunch. i think i could handle it.
