It was a beautiful day yesterday,
something this entire household has been craving.
When Mags and I decided to bundle Anderson up and go for a walk it dawned on me that it was the first walk Anderson has ever been on... sad.
At first I thought we'd just take a jaunt around the block
(which is why I went in my slippers... I know... I know... desperate housewife at it's best),
but we ended up going a good couple of miles to the park
(which is why my poor poor feet were raw by the time we got home).
This is how we roll when Maggie doesn't feel like walking (which was about 5 min. into the trip... lazy bones).
On the way back home we played a colours game...
I started it off where every time a car would drive by I'd say...
"Mags what colour is that car?"
She'd reply (for example)...
"Blue!"
I'd shout "good job Mags!"
She'd then reply...
"Tank-you Mama!"
Not long after we started, a car drove by and before I could say something Maggie hollered...
"Mama what cowour car?"
I gave her my answer to which she replied...
"good job Mama!"
to which I said...
"thank-you Maggie".
She then without hesitation finished things off with a
"you're wowcome".
Got. To. Love. Her.

Cute pictures...and I may have you beat with the desperate housewives tale..I, too, have gone out in my slippers, only I forgot they were on, and I ended up in the mall. Yup, sick. I even resorted to wearing Josh's jackets during the last bit of my pregnancy. Can you picture it? Husbands clothes and my slippers...desperate or what!?
c'mon, NO PICTURES of the slippers! what gives.
this is was the best week ever! and now it's a blizzard outside.
